Natasha and Alex

"A son will hold your hand for a little while, but will hold your heart for a lifetime."

Recently I had the opportunity to take some photos of one of my best friends and her son, who is 4.  Alex was definitely more interested in the adventure (climbing, throwing rocks, being a "boy") than having his picture taken but his curiosity made for some great candid photos.  Here are a few of my favorite images from their shoot...

Creative Photography

I love.love.love creative photography. I completed a portfolio titled "Abandonment" where I photographed abandoned houses/cars/trucks and other things. I have since continued this project and will post more photos soon.

Creative photography really allows me to put my own personal spin on my images. Enjoy!

The Marcol Family

Eric and Bethany have become great friends of ours and I was excited to take some family photos for them. Since I no longer have access to a studio I prefer to do my portrait sessions outside.

Taking pictures of pets and babies are usually the most challenging. This definitely proved to be true with Maggie and Marley. Maggie refused to look at the camera...and Marley continued to run from it.

With all that being said, we got some great photos that day anyhow!

Introduction...Enjoy!

As most of you know I studied photography in college and it's something that I really enjoy doing. My professors encouraged me to stay in school a little longer and complete a bachelors degree rather than an associates, but I chose not to do so. Photography is a hobby for me, something I use to express my creative side and escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. I was always afraid that if I chose a career in photography I would lose that.

I started a second blog - http://photosbymorgan.blogspot.com - to share my work with everyone. I am just now getting into the grind of my career, therefore I am ready to dive back into taking photos. I'll be taking some time to post some of my previous work, as well as keeping it updated with my most recent photos.

Please check back frequently and let me know what you think of my photos.

Spread the word...your opinions are my best advertising!
